When it just has to be as packable & as light as possible, then I suggest the 4 strings & less category.
Whether for a trip to the beach, a hike, or travelling overseas, one of my 'Zoukies' or its relatives might be for you.
Alternatively, you might be looking for a fun, unique first instrument, or a unique sound to round out your existing quiver of instruments.
My instruments in this category generally have 3 or 4 courses of strings in individual or paired arrangements. Things like body size, style, scale length and woods are all negotiable.
